Who is the German-American Club Kaiserslautern?
We are a builder of bridges and committed to friendship and understanding between Germans and Americans as well as people of all nations in Kaiserslautern and the surrounding area.
The German-American Club was founded in 1956 as a women’s club. In 2024, the club, at that time known as the German-American and International Women’s Club Kaiserslautern, was renamed into German-American Club Kaiserslautern and opend for men as members as well.
We celebrate the German-American friendship!
In our interest groups, people of different origins and nationalities can meet and exchange ideas. These include, among others, a conversation group, a language group, a culture group and a gourmet group.
We also offer a variety of events in which Germans and Americans can spend time together, exchange ideas and make friends.
With the earnings of our annual very popular Pfennigbasar, which has long since become an institution in Kaiserslautern, we support regional organizations by donating for charity.
You can find out which events and groups are currently awaiting you in the Events section! We would be very happy to welcome you!
